I’m currently reading Charles Siegel’s series of posts on Algebraic Geometry from the beginning and I highly recommend. It’s some of the clearest, loveliest writing ever, and it’s got me really interested in the topic.

Have you also looked at Ravi Vakil’s notes? (See here).

I haven’t read much of them myself, but I saw him give a talk which was quite awesome. I’m also interested in AG but have learned little, are you also just starting?
